Artist Statement

I love exploring nature. Originally from the Netherlands, I made Australia my home in 2009. There is so much to discover! On every hike, every trip there are new things to see and catch with my camera. The world is full of fascinating wildlife and scenery. I’d like to celebrate the unique beauty of the Australian nature with you through my photography.

I also would like to invite you to join me on my walks by watching my YouTube series ‘Come for a Walk in the Australian Bush’ and by reading my Nature Photography Blog where I share more information about my images, the stories behind them and interesting facts about what you see in the images!

Spending time in nature (even simply looking at an image depicting a natural scene) and learning more about it, increases our appreciation. It is good for our bodies and minds and also inspires us to help look after our amazing natural world.
