Through painting, I create a space where my influences, belief and desires meet and find visual expression. My work references memories of family and personal experiences which I explore withcolourful palettes and posterised style compositions. Iam fascinated by the capacity of emotions, poses and gestures to tell stories .How much a face shows? What the body tells? For me, my paintings are not about what appears on the surface; what I express is not just the person, a situation or a feeling but an attempt to explore and capture what is real about them in my mind.
